Chasing Dreams
And a call for help
At just nine years old, Coltyn is already showing that he has something special. As a dedicated member of the Old Forge Blue Devils, he’s not new to the game—he’s already put in two full years of hard work, growth, and determination. And in that time, his natural talent has truly started to stand out.
From the moment he steps onto the field, it’s clear that Coltyn has a strong instinct for the game—especially on defense. He reads plays quickly, reacts with confidence, and isn’t afraid to step up and make big tackles. His awareness, toughness, and drive set him apart from others his age, and it’s something coaches and teammates have come to rely on.
Those two years of experience, combined with his natural ability, show every time he lines up. He plays with intensity, focus, and heart—qualities that can’t be taught, only built from within. It’s not just that he plays the game—it’s that he understands it, and that’s what makes his talent so exciting to watch grow.
Off the field, Coltyn, like many kids his age, faces some behavioral challenges. Football has become an incredibly positive outlet for him—giving him structure, discipline, and a sense of purpose. It helps him stay focused, channel his energy, and continue growing in the right direction. The impact it’s had on him goes far beyond the game itself.
Like many families right now, we are doing our best while facing financial challenges. As two working parents raising four children—including a one-year-old—the rising costs of registration, equipment, and travel have become difficult to manage alone.
That’s why keeping Coltyn involved in football means so much to us. This isn’t just about a sport—it’s about supporting a young boy who has real talent, passion, and potential. We truly believe in what he can become, and we want to continue giving him every opportunity to grow both as a player and as a person.
Any support toward registration, gear, or travel would go directly toward helping him stay on the field, doing what he loves and continuing to develop his skills.
For Coltyn, football is more than a game—it’s where his talent shines, where he finds confidence, and where his future continues to take shape.
